Richard Daniel Sauveur (born November 23, 1963 in Arlington, Virginia) is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He played during six seasons at the major league level for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, and Oakland Athletics. He was drafted by the Pirates in the 5th round of the secondary phase of the 1983 amateur draft. Sauveur played his first professional season with their Class A (Short Season) Watertown Pirates in 1983, and his last with Oakland and their Triple-A Sacramento River Cats in 2000.
