Intepe is a sub-district of the central (Çanakkale) district of Çanakkale Province, Turkey. It is located in the Dardanelles area, north of the city of Çanakkale.

The town of Erenköy, located in the sub-district, was once itself renamed Intepe between 1947 and 2010, but a changed its name back to Erenköy after a referendum.

History

Present

The sub-district's borders and organization was defined in 2010. Today, it has a population of 7,746 as of 2011.[1]
