Ras ben Sakka

Ras ben Sakka is the northernmost point of the African continent, located 15 kilometres from Bizerte, the northernmost city in Africa on the Mediterranean Sea, 22 kilometres to the north-east of the Ichkeul lake World Heritage Site, in Tunisia. It is located at 37.346983N, 9.754608E, just 950 meters west of Ras al-Abyad (Cap Blanc), which is often mentioned as the northern tip of Africa, and reaching more than 30 meters further north than the latter.[1]
