Rangaswamy Peak and Pillar
Rangasamy Peak
Rangaswamy Peak and Pillar is a tourist spot in Kotagiri, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. It is located at a distance of 20 km from Kotagiri. The hill station of Kotagiri has many tourist attractions spot, which include Kodanad View Point, Catherine Falls, Elk falls, Long wood Shola, and Rangaswamy Peak and Pillar. The best season to visit is in summer.[1][2]
Rangaswamy Peak
Located at 11°27′39″N 76°59′13″E / 11.46083°N 76.98694°E, the height of Rangaswamy Peak is above 5,885 ft (1,794 m) and it is visible from Kodanad View Point.[1][2][3]
Rangaswamy Pillar
Rangaswamy Pillar is found on the north west side of Rangaswamy Peak. The height of the pillar is about 400feet.[1][2]
