Raja Abel is a Telugu film actor. He acted in several movies in Telugu since 2002 and played the title role in the Telugu movie Anand.

Raja was born as Raja Abel in Visakhapatnam. His mother was an Anglo Christian from London while his father was from Andhra Pradesh. Both died when he was young.[1]

Raja canvased in support of YSRCP in the Indian elections of 2014. He criticized movie star and leader of Jana Sena party, Pawan Kalyan.[2] In response, fans of Pawan Kalyan started a rumor on Twitter that Raja had died in a car accident.[3]

Raja is a Christian and is invited to several Christian meetings as a guest speaker in India as well as USA. He married Amritha in 2014 and they have a daughter named Leora.
