"Rain Rain Go Away" is a song released by Bobby Vinton in August 1962.[2] The song is sung from the perspective of a man who is wishing his childhood sweetheart sunshine after she asks to be set free so that she can marry another.[3][4]

The song spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 12,[5] while reaching No. 4 on Billboard's Easy Listening chart,[6][7] No. 11 on Canada's CHUM Hit Parade,[8] and No. 10 in Israel.[9]
