Quadria Capital is an Asian private equity firm focused on growth capital investments in small cap and middle-market companies within the healthcare sector of South and Southeast Asia. The firm is known for investing into the hospital and life sciences sectors in the region.

The firm, which is based in Singapore, was founded in 2013 by both Abrar Mir and Dr. Amit Varma. The team has raised approximately $1 billion since inception across three institutional private equity funds raised since 2007.

History

Prior to founding Quadria Capital, Abrar Mir led Global Healthcare Investment Banking at Religare Capital Markets,[1] an investment management and brokerage firm and part of Religare, one of Asia's largest financial services firms. Dr. Amit Varma is a renowned critical care physician and former President of Healthcare at Religare and Chief Operating Officer and Director of Medical Operations at Fortis Healthcare.

In 2013, Quadria Capital acquired Milestone Religare Investment Advisors, establishing Quadria India, with the original management team in place [2]
