Promised Land (Joe Smooth song)

"Promised Land" is a single by The Style Council released in 1989. It was a cover of a song by Joe Smooth.^[1] Along with the track, "Can You Still Love Me", "Promised Land" was the duo's only entry on the US dance chart, where it peaked at number nineteen.^[2]
