Philip Pierre

Philip J. Pierre is a Saint Lucian politician who is the political leader of the Saint Lucia Labour Party. He has been the parliamentary representative for the Castries East constituency since 1997.[1][2][3] He became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport in 2011.[4]

Pierre was selected as Leader of the Opposition following SLP losses at the 2016 general election. He was confirmed leader of the Labour Party on 18 June 2016.[1][5]
