Peddinti Alludu (English: Big House Son-in-law) is a 1991 Telugu, comedy film, produced by T. R. Tulasi on Sri Annapurna Cine Chitra banner[2] and directed by Sarath.[3] Starring Suman, Nagma, Mohan Babu, Vanisri in the lead roles and music composed by Raj-Koti.[4] The film is remake of Tamil film Nadigan (1990) which was inspired by N.T.Rama Rao's old Telugu movie Bhale Masteru (1969) which itself was a remake of Hindi film Professor (1962) and it remade in Kannada film Gopi Krishna (1992).[5] The film is first debut to actress Nagma into Telugu film Industry. The film recorded as Super Hit at the box office.[6]

Plot

Raja (Suman) an unemployed educated guy who is the search of a job, his mother (Dubbing Janaki) is a serious heart patient and requires to done a major operation. But due to poverty, Raja decides to shift to Hyderabad to his mother's treatment and look for a job while traveling on a train to Hyderabad, he meets a retired music teacher Srinivasa Rao (Babu Mohan) who is actually traveling to Hyderabad to Island Estate where he got a job as tuition master for Rs. 3000 salary monthly. He carries with him a recommendation letter with contact address while alighting the suitcases which resembles same of Raja & Srinivasa Rao, interchanges. So mistake Raja takes away the suitcase when reaching their room, he finds the letter and due to the critical situation of his mother, he decides to take the job. So he joins the job, preliminary changing him as an old man naming Srinivasa Rao.

Bala Tripura Sundari (Vanisri) proprietor of Island Estate is a lady Hitler, she is the guardian of her expired brother four children Geeta (Nagma), Radha (Seema), Tinku (Master Amith), Pinky (Baby Vijayalakshmi) whenever their aunt is in-house children acts as obedient to her and becomes naughty and makes lot of noise when she is out. So she keeps Srinivasa Rao to look after them as a guardian and teacher. Raja splits him into two avatars and by introducing himself as Srinivasa Rao's brother's son and starts loving Geeta and he always praises Bala Tripura Sundari and her glamor in the old avatar to get her appreciation. Once when Raja is changing his getups a thief Goodala Kanna Rao (Mohan Babu) caught's him redhandedly and starts blackmailing him and settle's along with him as his brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Bala Tripura Sundari comes to that Srinivasa Rao is having Kujadosham means a horoscope, people who are having this should select the partner having the same horoscope otherwise, the respective partner will die. Because Bala Tripura Sundari's also the same horoscope she was not married till today. So she starts loving Srinivasa Rao and decides to marry. Rest of the story is a humorous comedy-drama how Raja gets rid off from this problems.
