Paul Foley is an American-born, entrepreneur, mentor, and startup guru. He works as the co-founder of Augur, the fast growing Device Recognition startup based out of Boulder, CO.

Early Life & Education

Paul was born in Boulder, CO, in 1989, to mother (Gerri Foley) and father (Paul Foley).

Paul attended University of Michigan and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011. While at the University of Michigan, Paul was heavily involved in the Michigan Engineering Consulting Club, which allowed students to work on pro-bono consulting projects for Ann Arbor-based startups. This was Paul's first experience with helping startup's grow, and changed Paul's career aspirations away from Financial Services to focusing on how to make the world more entrepreneurial through technology.[1]

Career

Augur

In early 2015, at the age of 25, Paul teamed up with now Co-Founder Nawar Alsafar, to bring a technology that had never been seen before, Augur, to market. The goal, to revolutionize the internet marketing landscape by providing developers with an API to uniquely identify any type of device as well as the consumer who owns the device.

Nimbus

In mid-2013, at the age of 23, Paul founded Nimbus to help startups grow using sales, marketing, and finance web applications, also known as "cloud apps". While running the company Paul landed contracts with and helped scale 9 of the fastest growing startups in the country. Unlike traditional business software, cloud applications were making it increasingly easier to grow startups quickly & effectively through the internet.[2][3]
