Panchina d'Oro

Panchina d'Oro (English: Golden Bench) is an annual title awarded to the best Italian association football coach of the Serie A season. The Panchina d'Argento (English: Silver Bench) is awarded to the best non-Serie A coach for winning promotion. In 2006, a special Panchina d'Oro was also awarded to Marcello Lippi, following his victory with Italy at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.[1]
