Palegara (Kannada: ಪಾಳೇಗಾರ) is a 1996 Indian Kannada film, directed by N Omprakash Rao and produced by S V S Chinni and M K Prakash. The film stars Ambarish, Kushboo, Nirosha and Srikanya in lead roles. The film had musical score by Hamsalekha.[1][2] The film was a remake of Tamil film Nattamai. This was the first remake while the second remake was Simhadriya Simha (2002).
