PRR A3

The Pennsylvania Railroad A3 is a 0-4-0 class steam locomotive that worked for the PRR, These locomotives were built from 1895 to 1905. These little switchers were used to shunt and sort out railroad cars at the PRR yards. These were early examples of a Yard Switcher. These engines were retired by the much larger PRR A5s in the 1920s. The A1, A2, and the A4 were replaced as well.
