In the steppe land, the meandering of the Ural rivers,
Where the glorious city Orenburg situated
There was an idea and became a fertile -
To erect a temple of culture and science.

Future generations willing
Love the motherland, believe in the light of knowledge,
Hard to break down all barriers,
We founded the university.

To the recognition of the path is always long and thorny,
We go forward in time to the tune.
United and became very dear to us
Our sweet home - a favorite OSU.

Appreciate the talent and golden hands.

Plough field for a young science,
Reliable support in life give.
