Old Golimar Purana Golimar (Urdu: پرانا گولیمار ) is one of the neighbourhoods of S.I.T.E Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1]

Demographics
There are several ethnic groups in Old Golimar including Baloch, Brohi, Sindhis, Punjabis, Pakhtuns, etc. The oldest inhabitant of Old Golimar are Baloch from Makran and Gwadar who consist of more than 70% of the total population.
Infrastructure
Old Golimar is one of the oldest places in Karachi. There are few schools, substandard hospitals, a poor water system, limited infrastructure, and broken roads.
Politics
Once Old Golimar is a stronghold of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).Now there,s Divide between young and old, Imran Khan Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the popular among the youngs.
Dirty politics has also affect the life of average residents of Old Golimar,almost everyone suffers from it.
Old Golimar is also the centre of Karachi's Sheedi community, who are now neutralized Sindhi and Baloch of African descent.

Specially in holy month of Ramadan is like football festival in Old Golimar, The famous football tournament held in (Gator Bagicha) Trans Lyari Park for under 14 years old kids, With the sponsorship and help of Hamdard Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Organise by Abid Arman Baloch.
Cricket
Cricket got famous in Old Golimar after 1996 World Cup, When Pakistan co-hosted the event with India, The cricket team come to lime light in start of 1996 was BL-Sports from Noor Mohammad Village area,
Most of them are kind of Rebel Players who don't get a chance on other senior teams, They establish their own team and become dominant team in the area for such long time
Specially in matting wickets Opp Khalfa-e-Rashideen Masjid Area.
