Ocean Park (Chinese: 海洋公園) is an under-construction MTR rapid transit station in Hong Kong on the eastern section of the South Island Line, which will serve Ocean Park Hong Kong. It is scheduled to open on 18 December 2016[1] with the rest of the South Island Line.
It will take around 4 minutes to travel from Admiralty station to Ocean Park Station, which is 21 minutes faster than taking the Citybus route 629 from Admiralty station to Hong Kong Ocean Park.
The station will be built above ground, north of Ocean Park Road, above the Ocean Park Bus Depot. A footbridge will be built linking the station with the park entrance. In total, the station will feature three entrances/exits.

This elevated station will have two tracks and two side platforms.[2] Aedas, as part of the engineering team led by Atkins, is the architect for the station.[3] The station was completed in October 2015, but will open with the rest of the South Island Line East in end of December 2016.[4]
The station features different shades of blue glass, in wavy tile bands, as the main decoration. About 2,700 square metres (29,000 sq ft) of the concourse will be coloured blue, the pillars adorned with depictions of seals, penguins, jellyfish and dolphins and other marine life. On the ceiling will be Flow, a hanging art installation created by Benson Kwun; this installation will resemble a school of fish swimming through the air.[2] Ocean Park will be the second MTR station serving a theme park, after Disneyland Resort.
A park and ride facility will be built adjacent to the station.
Entrances/exits
Ocean Park Station will have three entrances/exits:
- A: Ocean Park Public Transport Interchange, Ocean Park Road, Nam Fung Road
(1 lift)[2] - B: Footbridge to Ocean Park Hong Kong main entrance [2]
- C: Wong Chuk Hang Road, to Shouson Hill (4 lifts)[2]
