Kennedy Oghayore (born June 9, 1988), known by his pen name OG6 (and also known as SIX), is the author of the bestselling book Strangers In L.A..[1][2]

Life and career

Oghayore was born in Nigeria, raised in Queens and Bridgeport,[3] Connecticut, earning a bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University, before relocating to Los Angeles, California. The humor-infused story of ‘’Strangers In L.A.’’ revolves around his successful job in engineering, which defaulted into an unexpected life of hardship—as a young African American man who ends up living in a Jeep with his girlfriend and two cats (Panda and Tabby) as the four head west to forge a new life.

Oghayore has also directed music videos and commercials, and been an accomplished digital painter,[4] putting some of his digital paintings on display via some of his book covers. His second work, re-released in 2015, is the short story SIX: Lost in Miami, which documents an ill-fated adventure to Miami while under the influence.[5] In May 2014, Oghayore took a major step toward Fiction genre with the release of Little Tubr: Blue Slaves and Red Flames.[6] The author notes: Writing is the only art form that transfers the power of imagination to anyone bold enough to read.
