Night Screams

Night Screams is a 1987 American horror film directed by Allen Plone.

Plot

Somewhere in Wichita, Kansas, David is a potential college football star who's just won a four-year scholarship to a college somewhere in Oklahoma. His mates decide to throw him a serious farewell party while his parents are out that night, including D.B, Russell, Joni, Lisa, Frannie, Doug, Chris, Brenda, Mason and Chuck. Unfortunately three uninvited guests secretly gatecrash these nightly celebrations, two are convicts named Runner and Roger who've fled from an asylum, now hiding out somewhere in the home's cellar, while our third interloper is a mental patient escapee, with a connection to the party guests and notably David himself.

The party goes into peak, Mason who was sitting on a rocking chair alone, was impaled with a fireplace poker. Brenda who feels being missed out because of mason who was missing, leaves the party. while she was driving, someone at the back of the car grabs her, she immediately parks the car on the side of the road and runs out to the nearby abandoned car where she hides under it. The killer destroys the car lifter which causes it to crush Brenda to death. Chris and Doug continue to watch pornography, Lisa, Russell and D.B are drinking while Joni, a new classmate, cleans up after them and subsequently gets upset so she runs upstairs while Lisa who confronts Russell about his jokes. Soon after Chris and Doug are making out on the sofa, but finds another place to have sex. Joni goes up to talk to David about his friends. after making out, Chris goes down and swims on the pool. Doug who was resting on the sauna room was killed as a light-bulb cable was tossed into the hot stones, soon after Chris was killed too, when the killer strikes an felling axe on her head while resting in the pool.

David has encountered some back to back memories which causes Joni to worry. Lisa, D.B and Russell go down to the cellar to get wine, when the killers broke the light under, which the trio unnoticed. Frannie and Chuck make out on the Jacuzzi. Chuck goes to the kitchen to cook, suddenly the killer forces his head onto the grilling pan and stabs his neck. Lisa comes down to the cellar to get more wine when the killers abducted her and strangles her to death. Runner was upset killing Lisa and Roger grabs a plastic bag and begins suffocating Runner with it, Roger then kills Russell with a cue stick, who was lying on the billiard table, and Frannie who was scared and alone was electrocuted on the jacuzzi. David's parents was about to go home to give David's prescription, when the police officer caught them over driving causing them some time to go home. D.B then founds the dead body of Russel and assumes it is only a joke only to be found it is real, he goes to search Lisa and found the dead body of Runner and Lisa. as he was continue to search for others, he was stabbed at the back. Roger follows Joni who goes inside the upper part of the house, as Roger comes in David comes out and the two have a fight, David was about to be killed when the dying D.B. arrives and stabs Roger at the back. David goes to search Joni and finds she was mentally ill and kills the others except for Lisa who was strangled by Runner. Joni then tries to stab the injured David as his parents and the officer arrives and shoots Joni. it was revealed that David has a hyperactivity disease since he was a kid that causes him to lost his temper. the film ends showing Joni who is still alive was on the hospital and still mentally ill.
