Mountain Designs
Mountain Designs is an outdoor clothing and accessory store based in Australia. It was founded by Rick White in Brisbane in 1975.[1]
The chain has 44[2] stores around Australia. They sell hiking, rockclimbing and general outdoor and recreational equipment.
Mountain Designs used to have a retail presence in New Zealand until pulling out in 2014 citing a "saturated market". [3]
The company also stocks a variety of international and local brands, as well as items in their own name.
