Mount Pleasant High School is a public high school located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, United States. It offers college preparatory courses to students in grades 9–12, technical preparatory courses from the Mount Pleasant Area Technical Center (arts and communications, business, management and marketing technology, engineering, manufacturing and industrial technology, health sciences, human services, natural resources and agriscience), and Advanced Placement courses in biology, American history, U.S. government, comparative government, literature, and calculus. Students may choose to dual-enroll in university courses at nearby Central Michigan University and Mid Michigan Community College with passing/satisfactory results on the Michigan Educational Assessment Program.

Programs

In 2012 the school's Business Professionals of America chapter had two national champions in the team competitions for Small Business Management and Global Marketing. The school also had one national runner-up team in Presentation Management, and two individual national champions in Medical Office Procedures and Economic Research Project. In 2013, Mount Pleasant had two national champions in Small Business Management and Economic Research, as well as two national runner-up teams in Presentation Management and Global Marketing. In 2014, there were two national champion teams in Economic Research and Presentation Management.

Mount Pleasant Public Schools are listed among "America's Top 100 Music Education Venues."

The school's choirs have received invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall, appearing there in 2009 and 2013. They performed in the Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center in Chicago in 2015.

Notable alumni

Mount Pleasant High School has graduated many notable alumni, including current Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball coach Tom Crean, professional golfers Cindy Figg-Currier and Kelly Robbins.
