Monsters of Legend is the sixteenth album by the band Midnight Syndicate. Advertised as a tribute to the Golden Age of Horror, the packaging features images from Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula.[1] The album features the blend of orchestral instrumental music, sound effects, and audio storytelling that the band has become known for.[2][3]

Reception

Dread Central wrote that "This is what Midnight Syndicate does best: dark, goth instrumental orchestrations that fit a general theme and provide an excellent mental backdrop to all things horror. Monsters of Legend represents the pinnacle of this kind of music."[4] FEARnet included the album in its Best of 2013: Top 13 Horror-Friendly albums of 2013.[5] In May 2014, the album won the Best CD category in the 12th annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards.[6]
