Mission Bell is the fourth studio album by American musician Amos Lee, released on January 25, 2011. The album features Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Sam Beam, Priscilla Ahn, Pieta Brown, James Gadson, and Calexico as guests on the album.[1] Joey Burns, of Calexico produced the album. Mission Bell debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 40,000 copies in its first week, which is the lowest ever total for a #1 album in the Soundscan era.[2] The following week it dropped from #1 to #26, the third longest drop from #1 on the Billboard 200 as of December 2016. This followed another large drop from #1 and the lowest-selling debut to top the list, when the previous week Cake's Showroom of Compassion fell to #25 and sold 44,000.
