Mishawaka Amphitheatre

The Mishawaka Amphitheatre is a single stage outdoor concert venue located approximately 25 miles north-west of Fort Collins, Colorado, on state highway 14. It is on the banks of the Poudre River. It is typically open during the summer months, and offers a full service bar. In past years camping on the grounds was permitted, but currently camping is allowed only in designated areas away from the venue. In past years wading in the adjacent Poudre River was permitted during shows, but in light of new management, wading is now only allowed away from venue, either up or down canyon. Transportation between the campground and venue is provided by a shuttle bus.

Past performers include Buckethead, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Israel Vibrations, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Blackalicious, George Clinton, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, and many others.[1] The Summer 2011 schedule is going to be announced on April 6, 2011.

It is currently owned by Dani Grant, who bought it in 2010 from Robin Jones. Jones bought it in 1991 "to keep it from being torn down and turned into a parking lot," but was forced to sell it after being caught with 280 pounds of marijuana.[2] Nevertheless, Jones wanted to sell the venue to "someone who would keep it a musical amphitheatre."[3]
