The Ministry of Culture (Burmese: ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန) administers Burma's cultural affairs and historical and archaeology research efforts.
The Ministry of Culture was established in March 1952 as the Ministry of Union Cultures, and later renamed the Ministry of Culture on 15 March 1972.[1]
