The New South Wales Minister for the Environment and Minister for Heritage has responsibilities which includes environmental regulation and policy, National Parks, and the protection of built and environmental heritage.

The current Minister for the Environment and the Minister for Heritage since 2 April 2015 is Mark Speakman. The Minister assists the Minister for Planning and administers his portfolio through the Office of Environment and Heritage, an agency within the Department of Planning and Environment and includes various sub-agencies such as the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales.
