Midland, Texas metropolitan area

The Midland Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of one county Midland in West Texas, anchored by the city of Midland. As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 136,872 (though a July 1, 2011 estimate placed the population at 140,308).[1]

The Midland Metropolitan Statistical Area is also a component of the MidlandOdessa Combined Statistical Area, which covers two counties (Midland and Ector) and had an estimated population of 280,419 as of July 1, 2011.[1]
