Thereafter, he was signed by Sekhar Kammula for the film Happy Days, which received widespread acclaim and was considered one of the best albums of the year.[4][5] He received the best music director award at the three major Telugu film award ceremonies (Filmfare Awards South, Nandi Awards and CineMAA Awards) for the film.
