Mazhavil Manorama is a Malayalam general entertainment television channel from the Malayala Manorama group, the publisher of the widely circulated Malayalam Manorama daily, and Malayalam women's magazine Vanitha. Mazhavil Manorama is headquartered at Aroor near Kochi, Kerala.

The channel has been on air since 06:30 pm on 31 October 2011. The Malayalam Manorama group is already into TV media through their Malayalam news channel, Manorama News. Through the launch of Mazhavil Manorama, the group has widened its media business portfolio.

Mazhavil Manorama is the second regional Malayalam channel to be launched in high definition, after Asianet HD. It has been aired since 14 August 2015 as Mazhavil Manorama HD.

Programmes

Mazhavil Manorama has various entertainment programmes in its portfolio including television dramas, music reality shows, and Malayalam movies. The channel also telecasts popular shows like Katha Ithu Vare, hosted by Poornima Indrajith, a talk show with celebrities; Samadooram, presented by Sreekandan Nairdna; and popular comedy show Marimayam, which conveys a real picture of public offices in Kerala. The channel also broadcasts reality shows like Veruthe Alla Bharya, a family based reality show hosted by Swetha Menon; Indian Voice, a musical reality show; and Comedy Festival, a reality competition among comedians for a title.

The channel telecasts its programmes completely shot on HD cameras, aiming for better marketing as well as increased public and viewer preference.

De CHEF

This is a cookery talent show, broadcast Fri-Sun. Its anchors are Mathukutty and Jewel Mary. Chefs are Amrit, Anjali, and Pradeep. Participants are Shameem, Mahima, Navya, Adv Nataraj K, Lijo, Joshy, Jose, Jabin, Indira, Dilruba, Askar, Heena, Sree Lakshmi, and Shyla.

Ugram Ujjwalam

This is a talent show, broadcast Mon-Fri at 7:30pm. Vineeth, Devyani, Kanika, Ambika and Sheela are the judges.

Onnum Onnum Moonu

Onnum Onnum Moonu started on 7 April 2013. It airs every Sunday at 9:30 pm and is hosted by popular singer and anchor Rimi Tomy. It is a talk show featuring various personalities from the film industry, music industry, politics, comedians, serials, and many more.

Thatteem Mutteem

Thatteem Mutteem is a serial that depicts the love-hate relationship between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law of a family.[1] The cast consists of KPAC Lalitha as the mother-in-law and Manju Pillai as the daughter-in-law.

Marimayam

Marimayam is a comedy serial depicting certain real public incidents that common people come across. it is telecasted on Fridays at 9:30 pm. Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems.
