Mayur Vihar Phase - 3

Mayur Vihar Phase - 3 is in the East Delhi area. It lies in Kondli constituency close to Noida border on one side and New kondli and Gharoli on another side. Mostly here are LIG, MIG, SFS and Janta Flats.The LIG Flats are divided into 3 Pockets, A-1, A-2, A-3.SFS Flats and pockets are named from A-D. Other than this, MIG housing complexes are also situated here. They are named in sequences of pocket-1-6. Inside the MIG complex is the expandable LIG housing which is pocket-2,4.

Mayur Vihar-3 also consists of Janta Housing Complexes which lie near the main bus stand. They are numbered from B1-8 and C1-2, etc. Mayur Vihar-3 can be accessed by three main entrances. One of the main entrances is via the NOIDA mod near to Sector 11 Noida, which is also called NEW Kondli mod. It provides access to both NOIDA as well as Delhi, towards Vasundhara Enclave. The second one connects Mayur Vihar-3 via Kondli-Gharoli dairy farm towards Kalyan Puri. The third one is via Sector 11 Noida which connects Noida Sector-12/22 with Mayur Vihar-3. It can also be reached via the barren land lying between Ghazipur and the proposed paper mart site.

New MIG Flats, Sector-G is a newly developed society with around 480 flats and is located just opposite to SFS flats, pocket D. Nearby Landmarks are HDFC Bank, Smriti Vana and Indane Gas Agency. New MIG Flats are different from MIG Flats which are in vicinity of Bharati Public School.There are three villages near Mayur Vihar Phase-3 namely, Dallupura, Kondli and Gharoli.

Villages are also dominated with gurjar dedha gotra.

It is home to a large population of south Indians, particularly Keralites. It also boasts of its residential diversity in numerous Bengalis, Punjabis, Garhwalis, Biharis, etc. settled here.

Mayur Vihar-3 has a central market located near A-2 (LIG Flats) in GD Colony.

Places of religious interests in the area include: Hanuman Mandir in GD Colony, Shiv Mandir in GD Colony, Sai Baba Mandir in A-2 Pocket Ishta Siddhi Vinayaka Temple for Tamil people in Pocket A-2, Kali Bari temples in Pocket A-1 and A-2 for Bengalis, Sri Dharmashaastha (Ayyappa) temple in pocket C-2 for keralites, Church of Assumption Syro-Malabar Catholic Church (For Keralites) - 154-B Pocket A-2, St. James Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (For Keralites) Pocket A-1, St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church (For Keralites) Pocket A-1, St. Stephen's Marthoma Church (For Keralites) Pocket A2, Mother of Perpetual Succour Latin Catholic Church, St. George's Malankara Catholic Church (For Keralites), Gurdwara Guru Singh Sabha Pocket A-2, Jain Temple in Janta Flats, Masjid in GD Colony.

A proposed paper mart has been in construction and it is said that Mayur Vihar-3 will be connected in the coming days to Ghaziabad as well. The place is known for its grand celebrations (mostly South Indian in nature) throughout the year.

Mayur Vihar III is well connected with South, Central Delhi and Noida through it bus service. It has its own Bus Depot.
