Maynila[1] (lit. Manila) is a Filipino youth-oriented drama anthology that has been broadcast on Philippine television since November 23, 1998 on GMA Network.

The show is hosted by former Manila mayor, secretary of DENR & current BUHAY Partylist Rep. Lito Atienza and was originally aired on weekday (Mondays to Fridays) afternoons, and eventually moved to Saturday mornings. After the elections in 2010, Atienza went back to the show and do acting in a cameo appearance instead of hosting; that routine repeated again in 2013 as he belonged to the nominees for BUHAY Partylist, his son Ali took over cameo appearances of his father.

The program's main thrust is to entertain the televiewers while including good moral values. It appeals to the young and the young heart with story lines that show glimpses of the Filipino youth, the Filipino family life and values that audience can learn from. Originally aired Mondays-Fridays and 5-day episode per week, it presently became a weekend drama anthology of inspiring stories of people who are having love problems and challenges that affect every Manileño's lives.[2]
