Masakuni Yamamoto (山本 昌邦 Yamamoto Masakuni, born April 4, 1958) is a former Japanese football player. He played for Japan national team. He is currently a commentator of football match program of NHK. He coached Japan national team at 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship and 2004 Summer Olympics.
