Marko Sočanac (Serbian Cyrillic: Марко Сочанац; born 4 July 1978) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Smederevo in the Serbian League West.

Career

Born in Raška, Sočanac started his playing career at his hometown club Bane, before transferring to Sartid Smederevo in the summer of 2000. He spent the next eight seasons at the club, winning the Serbia and Montenegro Cup in 2003.[1] Sočanac left Smederevo in the summer of 2008, following the club's relegation from the Serbian SuperLiga in 2008.

After leaving Smederevo, Sočanac move abroad for the first time, joining Chinese Super League club Quandong Jonoon. He made 20 league appearances in the 2009 CSL season.
