Mark Gil

This name uses Philippine naming customs. The first or maternal family name is Gil and the second or paternal family name is Eigenmann.

Raphael Gil Eigenmann (1962-2014) was a Filipino actor.

Personal life

He was the son of actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil, brother of actors Michael De Mesa and Cherie Gil. He was of Spanish, and Swiss German descent.[1] He is the father of Ira Eigenmann and singer/actor Gabby Eigenmann by actress Irene Celebre.[2][3] Timothy (aka Sid Lucero) and Maxine Eve are his children by his first wife, Bing Pimentel. Andi Eigenmann is his daughter with actress Jaclyn Jose. Gil married Maricar Jacinto in 1996; the couple had one child, Stephanie.

Death

Gil died on 1 September 2014, aged 52, of cirrhosis of the liver,.[4] He was survived by his six children, his parents and seven grandchildren.[5]
