Magarat

Magarat is Geographical cluster of Federal Republic of Nepal which existed in the History of Nepal from Budhigandki River in the East to Karnali River in the West.[1] It included 12& 18 small kingdoms (excluding Palpa and Gorkha which are considered to be among the strongest kingdom of Nepal) of that time scattered in the modern territory of Nepal before the Unification of Nepal by Prithivi Narayan Shah. Magarat is considered to be the place settled and inhabited by Magars, the largest Indigenous Ethnic Groups of Nepal.
