M.M.Manasi is a versatile playback singer and trained in Hindustani Vocal for the last 15 years. She has sung more than 70 songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. She completed her studies from School of Management D.g.vaishnav College, With in this short span of time she has sung some super hit songs, Her hits in Tamil – Stylish Thamizachi in Aarambam, Kattikeda in Kakki Chattai, Semma Mass in Mass, Robo Romeo in Thamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum, Sottavaala in Puli, Aatakari maman ponnu in Ilayaraja 1000th film Tharai Thappatai.[1][2]

Biography

Manasi grew up in Mumbai, but her parents belonged to the South Indian culture. At age of 2 she started learning music, her first public performances are bhajans sung during Navratri and Ganpati poojas. She was introduced by Ilaiyaraja in Kannada for the movie Drushyam and Vidhyasagar in Malayalam for Oru Indiya Pranayakadha.She has recently made an entry into Bollywood with the peppy Number Daddy Mummy in Bhaag Johnny for Devi Sri Prasad. This song is trending very well and has 20 Million views in YouTube. She has done voice acting for the leading heroines in kollywood-Bhagubali, Thozha for Thamana, Maari for Kajal Agarwal, Aanjan for Samantha, Kamalinee Mukherjee in Iraivi, Meegaman for Hansika Motwani, Darling and Velainnu vandhutta Vellaikaaran for Niki Galrani, Thamizhuku En 01 Azhuthavum for Bindhu Madhavi, Vaai Raja Vai for Tapsee, Yaan for Tulasi, Idharkkuthane Aasai Pattai Balakumara for Swathi, Thirumanam Ennum Nikha for Nazriya.[3][4]
