Lyndsay (Lyn) Shaddock (born 21 October 1937)[1] is an Australian company director and property developer.[2]

Early life

He was born in Sydney and attended Newington College (1950-1954).[3]

Business career

Shaddock has been involved with property developments in Australia, United States of America and Malaysia. He is currently the Independent Chairman of Growthpoint Properties[4] and Calibre Capital.[5] Shaddock serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Orchard Industrial Property Fund, a Director of Australand Property Group and has been on the board of Adsteam Group, Citigroup and Grant Samuel.[6]

Community involvement

From 1989 until 1993, Shaddock was a member of the Central Sydney Planning Committee (CSPC).[7] The SCPC plans Sydney and administers major development approvals. He was a member of the New South Wales Heritage Council from 1987 until 1991. From 1971 until 1991 he was on the New South Wales executive committee of the Property Council of Australia.

Honours

In 1997, Shaddock was made a National Honorary Life Member of the Property Council of Australia.
