Lulua District (French: District de la Lulua) is a district located in the Kasai-Occidental province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The city of Kananga (formerly known as Luluabourg) is at the center of the district, but has a separate administration.

Lulua was to become one of 25 proposed provinces specified in the country's Constitution (effective 18 February 2006).[1] Lulua District would be combined with the city of Kananga to form the new province, and Kananga would be the capital.[2] As of October 2010, this had not taken place.[3]
