Luis Arturo González López (21 December 1900, Zacapa – 11 November 1965) was a politician in Guatemala and the acting President of Guatemala on an interim basis, from 27 July 1957 to 24 October 1957. González replaced assassinated Carlos Castillo Armas. The work of his government was focused on trying to call new elections. Before assuming the presidency he studied law and was a member of the Supreme Court from 1945 to 1951.[1] He died 11 November 1965 in Guatemala City.
