This is a list of superzoom compact cameras, sometimes also called as superzoom 'travel' compact cameras.

If still available, ephotozine recommends SX700 HS.[4] SX700 has passive NFC which should be operated manually, while SX710 has active NFC which can transfer data automatically. 269 grams include battery and card with less than 35mm thick.[5]

MR means Multi Recording can take 2 images, wide and crop, Magic filter and original, 2 different size images.[17] It is replacement of SZ-30 MR with additional of LCD touchscreen and a small increase of speed. Has manual ISO and exposure compensation for exposure control.[16]

No Built-in Viewfinder. Has TruePic VII processor, PASM, touch screen, built-in WiFi, Microphone Port, Timelapse Recording, 3D Shooting Capability, Panorama Shooting.[18]
Olympus SZ-14 24x 25-600 14 MegaPixels 1/2.3" CCD f/3.0-6.9 HD at 30p mono, can zooming while video and use filter(s) Optical 0.8fps at Full resolution, 5.3fps at 5MP and 10fps at 3MP No No No Value for money. Has help function. No eye viewfinder. Has fully automatic, scene mode and program auto, but no dial of PASM, no RAW, ISO 80-1600 can be selected manually, Scroll wheel at the back is very slippery, Panorama mode is a little fiddly, 3D MPO file[19][20] Has Program AE, no distortion at wide and long end zoom, can uses EyeFi card, shutter speed 4-1/1700 seconds, decent image quality in day light, but not good in dark situation.[21] 1.9 seconds delay between shots.[22] Olympus SZ-15 use TruePic VI and has 2MP more CCD than SZ-14, so can take 1.5fps at Full resolution or 15fps at 3MP for 20 frames, has 360 degrees Sweep Panorama.[23]
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 (aka TZ70) 30x 24-720 12 MegaPixels 1/2.3" High Sensitivity MOS f/3.3-6.4 Full HD at 60p Lens, 5-axis 'hybrid' image stabilization 240fps with Auto Focus Yes No No MSRP $399. Has Live View Finder (LVF) with an eye-sensor, Control Ring for adjustments, Level Shot Function detects the horizontal line of the recording image, Jump Shot at the peak of a jump, WiFi and NFC.[24] The TZ70 reduces 18MP used by TZ60 to 12MP only, for reducing noise. TZ70 use LVF 1,166K dot, instead of 200K dot only in TZ60. Whatdigitalcamera suggests TZ60 for budget concern, but TZ70 is also good option.[25]
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 (aka TZ60) 30x 24-720 18 MegaPixels 1/2.3" High Sensitivity MOS f/3.3-8.0 Full HD at 60p Lens, 5-axis 'hybrid' image stabilization 10fps Yes No No Has Electronic View Finder (EVF), Control Ring for adjustments, Level Shot Function detects the horizontal line of the recording image, Full Manual control, 3D MPO File, WiFi and NFC.[26] Has no LCD touchscreen and GPS, while Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS30 (aka TZ40) with optical zoom 20x has, but TZ40 has no viewfinder and RAW[27]

Has PSAM Dial and Compensation Dial. HX60 and HX60V are identical, but HX60V has GPS. Has BIONZ X processor as Sony α7R, Full manual control, Sweep Panorama, WiFi and NFC.[29] Image quality is relatively same with the predecessor HX50 and HX50V, due to new BIONZ X processor is not give much improvement.[30] HX60V with battery and memory card is 272 grams and nearly 4 centimeter thick. Can take 15MP photos when filming video or when playback.[31]
