List of international goals scored by Ian Rush

Ian Rush is the top goalscorer in the history of the Wales national football team, with 28 goals in 73 matches from 1980 to 1996. The record was previously held by Trevor Ford, who scored 23 in 38 matches between 1947 and 1957, and Ivor Allchurch with 23 in 68 between 1951 and 1966.[1]
Rush's goal tally included a hat-trick in a 6–0 win over the Faroe Islands on 9 October 1992, the first Welsh hat-trick for over 13 years, and one of only 14 ever scored by the nation.[2]
