Breweries in Wisconsin produce many different styles of beer.^{[2][3][4][5][6]}

Some breweries package their beer in bottles or cans for retail sale. Some breweries produce kegs of beer, to be sold on draft at taverns and restaurants, or at the brewery's own tap room. Brewpubs combine brewing operations with full-service restaurants. Commercially licensed breweries use one or several of these methods to sell their products.

• 3 Sheeps Brewing Company^[7] – Sheboygan – Opened in 2012.
• Ahnapee Brewery^[8] – Algoma – Opened in 2013.
• Ale Asylum^[9][10] – Madison – Production brewery with a brewpub, opened in 2005.
• Badger State Brewing Company^[11] – Green Bay – Founded in 2013, the destination brewery grounds include a tap room, beer garden, and upscale event hall located in the historic Stadium District near Lambeau Field.
• Black Husky Brewing^[12] – Pembine – Opened in 2010. Planning on moving to Milwaukee.
• Brewing Projekt^[13] – Eau Claire – The Brewing Projekt opened in 2015 and brews on a three vessel 20BBL (620 gallon) brewhouse with four 20 BBL and two 40BBL unitank fermenters.
• Capital Brewery – Middleton – Opened in 1986.
• Central Waters Brewing Company^[14][15] – Amherst – Production brewery with a taproom. Opened in Junction City in 1998, moved to Amherst in 2007.
• City Brewing Company – La Crosse – Founded in 1999, City Brewing is a large production brewery that contract brews beer, and produces other beverages, for a number of different brands. The company also operates breweries in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and Memphis, Tennessee
• Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company^[16] – Madison – Brewpub, opened in 1994. Great Dane now has five locations — four in Madison and one in Wausau.
• Hinterland Brewery^[17] – Green Bay – Brewery and restaurant, opened in 2001.
• Horny Goat Brewing Company^[18] – Milwaukee – Brewpub closed in 2015, production brewery still in operation.
• Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company – Chippewa Falls – Founded in 1867, Leinenkugel is now a subsidiary of SABMiller.
• Karben4 Brewing^[19] – Madison – Brewpub, opened in 2012.
• K Point Brewing^[20] – Eau Claire – An offshoot of the existing Coffee Grounds, a coffee/beer/wine/liquor specialty store, the brewery derives its name from the ski jumping term K-point and opened May 5, 2016.
• Lakefront Brewery – Milwaukee – Founded in 1987.
• Lazy Monk Brewing^[21] – Eau Claire – The Lazy Monk opened in 2011, expanded tap room in 2013, and moved to its current location in 2016. The brewery is capable of producing 500 barrels of beer per year.
• Lucette Brewing Company^[22] – Menomonie – Founded in 2010.
• Miller Brewing Company – Milwaukee – Founded in 1855, Miller operates breweries in a number of locations. It is now a subsidiary of SABMiller.
• Milwaukee Ale House – Milwaukee – The brewpub opened in 1997. The Milwaukee Brewing Company production brewery opened in 2007. A second brewpub in Grafton opened in 2008.
• Minhas Craft Brewery – Monroe – Founded in 1845 as the Monroe Brewing Company, the company has changed hands many times, and became the Minhas Craft Brewery in 2006.
• New Glarus Brewing Company – New Glarus – Founded in 1993
• Next Door Brewing Company^[23] – Madison – Casual brewpub and restaurant. Craft beer made on-site and locally sourced food menu. Opened August 2013. Began distribution in December 2015.
• One Barrel Brewing Company^[24] – Madison – Brewery and taproom, opened in 2012.
• Pearl Street Brewery^[25] – La Crosse – Brewery and taproom, opened in 1999.
• Potosi Brewery – Potosi – Founded in 1852, closed in 1972, restored and reopened in 2008. Brewpub and site of the National Brewery Museum.
• Public Craft Brewing Company^[26] – Kenosha, opened in 2012, brewery and taproom.
• Rustic Road Brewing Company^[27] – Kenosha, opened in 2012, brewery and taproom.
• Saint Francis Brewing Company^[28] – St. Francis – Brewpub, opened in 2009.
• South Shore Brewery – Ashland – Brewpub, opened in 1995.
• Sprecher Brewery – Glendale – Founded in 1985, Sprecher produces soda as well as beer.
• Stevens Point Brewery – Stevens Point – Founded in 1857, Stevens Point is a large production brewery that now makes Point beer, and also contract brews beer for several different brands.
• Titletown Brewing Company^[29] – Green Bay – Brewery and restaurant, opened in 1996.
• Tyranena Brewing Company^[30] – Lake Mills – Bottling line, taproom, opened in 1999.
• Urban Harvest Brewing Company^[31] – Milwaukee – Brewery and taproom, opened in 2016.
• Valkyrie Brewing Company^[32] – Dallas – Opened as Viking Brewing Company in 1994, renamed to Valkyrie Brewing Company in 2011.
• Vintage Brewing Company^[33] – Madison – Brewpub, opened in 2010.

Other beer companies

• James Page Brewing Company - James Page Brewing was founded in 1986, and much of its beer was produced under contract, by other breweries. It is currently made by the Stevens Point Brewery.
• Rhinelander Brewing Company – Rhinelander was founded in 1882. Since 1967 the beer has been contract brewed at Minhas Craft Brewery.^[34]
