This is the map and list of American countries by monthly net average wage. The chart below reflects the average (mean) wage as reported by various data providers. The salary distribution is right-skewed, therefore most people earn less than the average net salary. In less developed markets, actual incomes may exceed those listed in the table due to the existence of grey economy.

The countries in purple on the map have net average salary in excess of $1,000 and in blue – below $1,000.
