Lee Joo-heon (born October 6, 1994), better known mononymously as Jooheon, is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. He is an active member of South Korean boy group Monsta X,[3] formed during the 2014 Mnet survival show No.Mercy.

Career

Nu Boyz

Jooheon started the band Nu Boyz in collaboration with Starship Entertainment along with Monsta X members Wonho, Shownu and Starship's trainee #Gun in August 2014.[4][5] The quartet uploaded multiple mixtapes to their company's YouTube channel in October 2014[6] and performed the opening show at a Starship X concert in December 2014.[7] All members of the group were later added to the survival show No.Mercy and the group is assumed to have been disbanded.

Show Me the Money

Jooheon auditioned[8] for the fourth season[9] of Mnet's rap competition series, Show Me the Money in summer 2015. He made it to the 3rd round where he was eliminated[10] in a 1-on-1 battle. He was later brought back for a second chance where he lost to ex-1PUNCH member, One,[11] and was eliminated again.
