Lakshmi Parvathi (born 14 September 1955) is an Indian politician and writer. She is the founder and president of NTR TDP. She is the second wife of NTR.[2] She married former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao.[3]

Parvathi got her doctorate in Telugu literature from Telugu University of Andhra Pradesh, India in 2000. She is married to Veeragandham Subba Rao, a harikatha artiste.[4]
