Lahore Medical & Dental College (LMDC) was founded as a private medical college in 1997 making it the first private institution of its kind in Punjab. The main campus is situated near the serene and peaceful setting of Lahore's northern canal and houses buildings for all of their academic programs including Lahore Medical & Dental College, Lahore Pharmacy College, Lahore College of Physical Therapy, Lahore School of Public Health and Institute of Paramedical Education.

Their Pakistan Medical & Dental Council recognition gives graduates full eligibility to take their education to the next level by completing further education and appearing in professional examinations on a global scale – a step many graduates have taken – in the US, UK, Europe, and more. These include all of the United States medical licensing examinations, Royal College of England medical certifications, as well as full clearance to appear in the National Dental Board (NBD) part 1 + 2 exams, to just name a few.

LMDC offers students an international standard of education to help prepare them for the future and to ensure that they obtain all of the credentials required to work on a global scale. They have had 100s of graduates go on to develop successful careers in medicine and dentistry in the US, UK, Australia and more. Connecting to the newly constructed link road, the campus is easily accessible from all areas of Lahore with a short drive. The institution is spread over 120 kanals of land and houses state of the art lecture theaters, auditoriums, dissection halls, laboratories and more.

The teaching staff at LMDC is composed of doctors, surgeons, dentists, and professors. They are also partnered with the top teaching facilities in the country including the 630-bedded Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital (for MBBS students). Also GTTH modern Spine Centre,250-bed Doctors Hospital and Medical Center, and the 150-bed Surgimed Hospital are used by PostGraduate students. These facilities offer students hands on clinical teaching and training rivaling the top institutions around the globe.
