Komornica [kɔmɔrˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wieliszew, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Wieliszew, 8 km (5 mi) north of Legionowo, and 29 km (18 mi) north of Warsaw.

The village has population of 168 (17th of June 2009).

Komornica Culture The oldest traces of settlements in the territory of the Wieliszew Commune dating back to 8000 years BC have been discovered at numerous archaeological sites in the territory of the village of Komornica (e.g. flint tools). This so-called Komornica culture prevailed in parts of Poland, Germany, Denmark, and southern Sweden.
