Kolangal (Malayalam: കോലങ്ങൾ) is a 1981 Indian Malayalam film, directed by KG George and produced by D Philip and KT Varghese. The film stars Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu, Venu Nagavally and Sreenivasan in lead roles.[1][2][3] The film is based on the story "Oru Gramathinte Athmavu" by P. J. Antony and depicts the life of the people of a central-Travancore village.

Plot

Mariamma and Aliamma are neighbours and enemies. Aliamma's daughter is cheated and get impregnated.She finally gone mad.Mariamma's daughter fall in love with a bangle seller.But Mariamma refuse their relationship and made her daughter married to a rich drunken old man at the end.
