Kiarash Anvari

Kiarash Anvari (Persian: کيارش انوری) (born 16 November 1977 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian film maker, video artist and script writer. Anvari received his BA in film making from Sooreh Higher Education Institute in Tehran. In 1998 he got a role in Eugene O'Neill's play, The Hairy Ape, which was the beginning of his experiences as an actor. After receiving his master's degree in film studies from University of Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France, he continued his studies on PHD in film philosophy. His films and video art pieces have been screened in different venues and festivals around the world.
