Khirauna is a village development committee in Siraha District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2870 people living in 496 individual households.[1] Different casts of people live in the village including Goit, Mandal, Thakur, Paswan etc. The main occupation of people in the village is agriculture, but recently people have started to show an interest in other professions as well.
